Amy, originally from Philadelphia, is a Brooklyn-based designer of environments for theatre, opera, dance and live events. Her work often explores the relationship between character/emotion and design.  She creates intimate experiences through the manipulation of space/object, focusing on how a story flows. Amy is currently collaborating with Sidra Bell Dance New York on Monster Outside, premiering at the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans in November. Anisa George); Festenmacher(Dir. Robert Woodruff). Amy creates interactive events for Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and Spike TV. Her design work has been at TED Conferences in 2016, The Public, The Park Ave Armory, Baryshnikov Arts Center, Walker Arts Center, MASSMoCA, La Jolla Playhouse, Bushwick Starr, HERE Arts, Cherry Lane, 59East59, Juilliard, 3LD, NYU, Dixon Place, Bard, Fordham. Received her MFA from NYU.
